CLOVERALE CALIFORNIA 35th ANNUAL OLD TIME FIDDLE CONTEST

January 23-24, 2010

Many thanks to those who came to Cloverdale for our 35th Contest.  Weather was cold & rainy, but the fiddlers & other musicians there had a really hot time, with lots of great jamming.   Anything Stringed Division drew new contestants this year.  We had a good showing in Twin Fiddles and Junior-Junior.  Special thanks to our judges, Ted Smith, Art Kee, Laura Smith and Darin Smith.

The Devine Jug Band put on quite a show, as did Eric Cornforth and the Hicktown Homeboys, Cloverdale  luthier Bruce Halbohm and Kenny Blacklock and Friends.  Thanks also to the sponsors and volunteers who made the contest a success.
